About
Tatiana Mavromati is based in Athens, where she works as a photographer and photography educator. Her artistic practice is rooted in documentary photography and long-term research, and in recent years she has expanded her methodology to include filmmaking and video production. Her work engages with themes related to migrant communities and cultures in Athens, as well as questions of gender divisions and women’s labour.
Her photographs have been featured in both Greek and international newspapers, online platforms, and photographic publications. She has curated and participated in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
